Google Ads Management Pricing

Transparent pricing based on campaign complexity, not your ad spend

Most agencies charge a percentage of your ad spend. The more you spend, the more they make. That creates a conflict of interest where the agency benefits from increasing your spend, whether or not it makes sense for your business.

We don’t work that way. Our management fees are based on campaign complexity, the number of campaigns we’re running, the targeting involved, and the work required to keep your ads performing.

Standard Google Ads Management

This is our base management fee and does not include advertising spend. A typical setup includes three campaigns:

Brand protection campaign: Stops competitors from bidding on your business name and funnelling your customers away
Generic campaign: Targets the broad search terms your customers use when looking for services like yours
Persona or problem-target campaign: Targets specific customer pain points or buyer profiles that match your ideal client

Three campaigns cover most businesses well. We use a strategy we call “gapping,” where paid ads fill the gaps in your organic search presence. Where you’re ranking well organically, we don’t waste ad spend. Where you’re not ranking yet, or where competitors are strong, we place ads to capture those searches.

$1,500 per month (up to 3 campaigns)

Expanded Campaign Management

When your business needs more targeted campaigns, such as location-specific targeting across multiple service areas, or separate campaigns for different service lines, the management fee reflects the additional work. Each campaign requires its own keyword research, ad copy, bid management, and performance monitoring.

$2,000 per month (4-6 campaigns)

What’s Not Included in Management

Advertising spend. Your ad budget is paid directly to Google. We don’t handle your ad spend and we don’t take a percentage of it. You control how much you spend, and we advise on the right budget to hit your goals.

For most businesses, we recommend starting with a minimum of $1,000 to $2,000 per month in ad spend. Google’s AI needs data to learn, and the first two to three months are typically a learning period where the system gathers enough conversion data to optimise effectively. After that initial period, costs per conversion typically drop and performance improves.

Why Complexity-Based Pricing Works Better For You

When an agency charges a percentage of spend, they have a financial reason to increase your budget. When we charge based on campaign complexity, our interests align with yours: make the campaigns work as efficiently as possible so your return on investment keeps improving.

If we can get you the same results with less spend, that’s a win for both of us. Your cost goes down, your ROI goes up, and you stay with us because the numbers make sense.

The Learning Period

Something most agencies won’t explain upfront: Google Ads needs time to learn. Google considers an account “seasoned” after about thirty conversions. Depending on your industry and competition, that can take two to three thousand dollars in spend before campaigns hit their stride. Sometimes up to five thousand.

After the learning phase, costs per conversion drop and performance improves significantly. But you have to get through that initial period first. We monitor this closely and make adjustments throughout, but the reality is that your first two to three months won’t be your best months. We’d rather tell you that upfront than let you find out later.
